ALIVA-CELINA KLINKER ETICS

Celina brick slips for use in External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems in new buildings and renovations. Lighter than conventional brick slips, therefore approved for high-rise buildings over 100 metres in height (KIWA testing institute), even without any height restriction; thinner than conventional clinker brick slips that achieve the same U-value. In this specific project, a U-value of 0.15 W/m²K was achieved. 85% less energy is consumed in the production of these clinker brick slips than in the production of conventional facade clinker brick slips. This is due to savings in the firing process resulting from a new manufacturing method and the thin structure of the brick slips. Unlike rendered façades, ceramic clinkers offer lifelong resistance aginst algae and fungal infestation, so there is no need for the regular use of biocides.
