THE EVENT

Be inspired by innovation: visit A@W!

The main reason for visiting is that A@W is THE meeting place for specifiers such as architects and interior designers to discover innovative products. This takes place in a custom-designed concept, where all attention is focused on the innovations approved by a judging panel. A@W also offers an extensive seminar and features programme. The aisles are transformed into cosy lounge areas with free catering. Here, specifiers can exchange ideas with technical advisors and fellow architects.

ARCHITECT@WORK LAUSANNE – join us on 30 September and 1 October 2026 at Beaulieu.

Following the resounding success of its inaugural event in late 2024, ARCHITECT@WORK LAUSANNE is once again establishing itself as the must-attend event of the autumn for specifiers in the construction sector.

Through a unique exhibition concept designed to foster connections, inspiration and dialogue, visitors will discover the latest innovations from 136 manufacturers rigorously selected by an independent technical committee.

To complement this experience, the Steering Committee has devised an inspiring programme of exhibitions and conferences, inviting visitors to explore the potential of existing buildings through creative, sustainable and responsible approaches.

Theme 2026 : TRANSFORMATION, REIMAGINING THE EXISTING

In the face of today’s environmental, economic and societal challenges, architecture is being called upon to fundamentally reinvent itself. The theme of the second edition of ARCHITECT@WORK Lausanne, “TRANSFORMATION, Reinventing the Existing”, highlights an essential approach: enhancing, adapting and transforming what already exists. Rather than systematically building new structures, the focus is on exploring the potential of existing buildings, extending their life cycle and giving them new purposes.
Renovation, restructuring and repurposing are all creative approaches that encourage architects and specifiers to rethink the way they design. This theme paves the way for innovative, sustainable and responsible solutions, where constraints become opportunities and every transformation tells a new story.
ARCHITECT@WORK Lausanne therefore offers both an inspiring and practical reflection on the many ways of reinventing the existing, at the heart of today’s challenges.
